5 out of 5 stars Super Comfort   December 11, 2004

I've spent a lot of money and time trying to find a comfortable bra and the microfiber crop top bra is the best I've ever worn. Definitely worth the price! It's as comfortable as being without a bra yet gives support.

5 out of 5 stars THE versatile, summerweight bra!   April 22, 2009

I'm a woman who HATES to wear bras. Unfortunately, I also like to wear next to nothing in summer. Temperatures where I live can be over 100 degrees. And some t-shirts just can't be worn without bras outside the house. Enter the Barely there model #103. I've tried countless cotton bras, sports bras, etc., and they are all very heavy material and elastic, suffocating me. But this is just one very, very light layer of fabric (on the minus side, not the bra to wear if you have prominent, always-erect nipples) and although it's synthetic, it breathes like cotton and is really the next best thing to going bare.

Notes:

1. My observations are on the white colour. I've just ordered the bra in black. I know from experience that black dye can sometimes cause fabric to be less stretchy and stiffer, so will keep you posted.

2. I'm a plus size woman who takes a 24W, and the Large is a little small on me, while the X-large is perfect. However, this is not to say that it runs large, just that it stretches really really well.

3. Eveningwear solution: I once wore this bra under a modest evening dress and stuffed a strapless padded-cup bra inside it without hooking it closed at the back. Wow. Comfort and style. Looked great and felt as comfy as pajamas all night long.

4. Strapless bra solution: Invert the bra so the bottom band is above your breasts and tuck the straps underneath. Voila - instant strapless look.

5. All that said - if you have big, bouncy breasts and plan to spend the evening at a disco, do yourself a favour and get something with a bit more support. Although I have worn it to dances, it's not the best for a 250-pound woman with 38DDs jumping up and down. Great for everyday wear, though, I wear it under all my clothes.

6. You don't need me to tell you this, but fo course this bra does nothing for your silhouette. It just prevents your bits from rotating and bouncing. If you want a built-up or pointy look, you want another bra, or else see solution #3 above.

5 out of 5 stars Totally worth the price ... no elastic to leave marks   July 8, 2004

Amazingly comfortable bra - the lack of hard/stiff fabrics really makes this nice to wear for extended periods. I have issues with irritation from seams & elastic touching my skin; so these all microfiber bras really are great for me. The price seems high, but as long as you launder gently and air dry they last quite a long time.

5 out of 5 stars Good for Nursing Mom too...   May 18, 2006

I nurse my infant, and I like to wear this bra at night for support. It doesn't have any hooks or uncomfortable straps and is lightweight, yet gives just enough support. When I nurse my infant, it's easy to just slide up, and also accomodates nursing pads that do not shift. I bought mine at Kohls on sale for about $8.

I hate wearing bras, but this is by far the most comfortable bra I have ever worn.
